Quick Change!!!

A quick change in theater is when actors have to change their costume in a short period of time during a live performance. 

Being a part of the hair and makeup department for various theaters, quick changes are always a nail biting experience.  There can be so many moving parts and no one wants to miss their cue.  From the lightening crew, stage management, props, wardrobe, sound, the actor, and of course hair and makeup everyone must working together to ensure the audience experiences a perfect show.  Quick changes can happen anywhere, some happen right on stage in front of the audience with them even knowing.
